Donald Dewar and fat bloke

Depending on your political allegiances, Donald Dewar is either a local hero or a local villain. Either way, he was undoubtedly one of the foremost figures in Scottish politics in the 20th century and he probably deserves a statue as much as anyone else. I have two problems with this statue:

One: it's a rather lurid shade of green. Not only does this alienate approximately 50% of the population of Glasgow, it's also, to my eyes, a little undistinguished.

Two: he should have a traffic cone on his head. He doesn't have a traffic cone on his head, at least not today, but you can't tell from this photograph, as I've scalped him. You may argue that a traffic cone is even more undistinguished than a lurid shade of green, but I do feel that every statue should have a traffic cone on its head.

I don't know anything about the fat bloke. If he's reading this, perhaps he'll fill in the gaps for me...
