Ouchy - tired tears

They both had great days, until this one fell off the kitchen bench. He wasn't really hurt, but there were lots of tired tears of shock.  He helped me cook dinner from his perch on the kitchen bench.

The eldest had a glowing report from his after school club teacher who had been through his letters and numbers.  She was super impressed with him and said he's coming along really well.  There is still lots of work to do, but he's starting to enjoy numbers (oh my goodness!).

We had an exciting evening, the floor has gone down in the bathroom, downstairs loo and new carpet on the stairs and landing.  It really does make it look so much better.  So, that's it.  We're done with 'trades', some very small paint jobs left and we're finished.  Good job, the photographer is coming on Monday from the estate agent ready for the house to go on the market next week.

Spent the evening - the entire evening - tidying and cleaning.  Not entirely sure if you can tell, but at least the kitchen floor is no longer crunchy underfoot from the sand brought back from nursery by the youngest in the tractors that seem to go everywhere with him...
