Stunned

There was a ‘clunk’ on the patio door and Mrs SoL spotted a rather distressed Great Tit, floundering on its back. I managed to pick it up and hold it for a while until it started to come round. The loud squawking and serious pecking of my hand was a hint that the little thing was feeling better and wanted to be released. I put it down on the ground again, right way up, where it stayed for a while. Checked half an hour later and it was gone. Hopefully not inside a predator - got a few of those around.
