Cattle in the evening glow

With Saturday being an incredibly busy day with the Little River Show, this blip was one of those 'better grab a shot' images, and again I've stumbled not too far away from the front gate to get it.

The show went well although I did notice that the amount of entries in the Photography section were down. I'm going to cut some categories next year too, as some just didn't attract enough attention. Shame really.

As the section is judged blind by a non-interested party, I submitted some of my own photos. I won in a couple of categories (landscape, large format black & white) as well as getting a few seconds, thirds and highly commendeds. It's also nice to hear a judge critique your work anonymously.

I had to hand back the overall points trophy this year though - a three-peat (as our American cousins would call it) was not to be. Ah well - gotta give someone else a chance sometimes eh? ;-)
