The Solitary Swan

OK, so maybe he's not that alone given the number of black swans on Lake Ellesmere, but he was the only one in this particular pool.

It was a gorgeous night down on the rail trail as I went searching for another wide-angle blip, and this one seemed to capture the mood of the evening.

It's showday again tomorrow, this time with the Little River A&P show meaning an early start for both me and S as we get read to work in the sheds preparing entries for judging.

Better get some shut-eye then...
