Goodbye....

A cool start this morning. A covering of snow during the night followed by a frost so the roads and the yard a wee touch slippery !
Kev on mucking out and bedding cattle as they didn’t get done yesterday.
The lorry in delivering a new trailer I bought last week and taking away one as a trade in. At 26 years old it isn’t due me anything , not sure the new one ( or the farmer ) will last another 26 years !
The drainage contractor in with a digger to see why the water isn’t draining away in the oat stubble that is one of the fields reinstated after the sand quarry had dug it up. We shall see what happens.
Still Baltic cold tonight, so stove lit and plenty logs on the hearth- should keep the home fires burning.
