Snowdrops

I was driving around this morning looking for possible landscape shots when I noticed as I passed through Pitcox that there were snowdrops in the small wooded area at the centre of the village. When I initially started shooting the snowdrops were backlit so I had to underexpose by a couple of stops to avoid the flowers burning out. However the weather quickly changed in to wintry showers and my second shot was taken under very even lighting so the surrounding wood floor is much more prominent (see extras). I then wandered across the road to look at the grounds surrounding the 'big house' as there are some lovely trees there which I have photographed on previous occasions. I was astounded to see the grounds were absolutely covered in snow drops (see second extra).
