Whin/Gorse/Broom/Furze.

Am not sure which is the correct name, but in our house we call it whin. It probably depends on the Region you live in. We had a short walk today as it was bitterly cold. I made a ' chop and chuck' veggie stew. Sometimes the tastiest meals are made from bits and pieces you find in the fridge and need to use up! Otherwise it was a quiet afternoon knitting and reading. I will have to get more exercise tomorrow! I should have mentioned that the poor Ash tree in the pic has been seriously 'pruned'. No doubt it will grow back again! The stretch in the evenings is very welcome.
