not so pleasant

This isn't the way I normally like to see pheasants !
There were at least 4 times this number of birds laid out on racks outside the kitchen door when we arrived at Manleys restaurant at the Old School House in Weeford. They weren't directly in sight on arrival but I spotted them from the car park.
It was another good family meal, a spill over from last weekends birthday celebrations. No one in our party ordered pheasant.
