Open Mic Night

Saturday evening we went to an open Mic night at a local Church. It was great fun and held in the Church cafe. You are welcome to bring your own wine and snacks. It is a free event, but it is always a fundraiser and this time the donations will go to Prostate cancer research. We were amazed by the talented performers and the music included Jazz/Blues/Rock/Folk. A thirteen year old girl sang a beautiful version of Wayfaring Stranger. At the end of the evening a number of the performers came together and sang Be Happy. We will go to the next event!
