Photo Slides 1965

A fairly lazy day sorting through documents and photographs found in my dad's house.

There are a lot of photo slides which haven't been viewed in years. So, we ordered a little viewer and I looked online for tips on how to digitalise them. This and the 'extra' were amongst my first attempt. I am reasonably pleased with the results so I think I may persevere and do this myself rather than sending them to someone else to convert.

I believe this was a holiday to Portree where we stayed in a caravan.
The extra was taken on the day Princess Anne drove through Jamestown. Apparently a large crowd lined the street all along the route though I don't know where she came from or where she was going to.
