Headed to the local marsh today to photograph birds of prey. Grey, snow, wind, and no birds.

Happened to notice this decommissioned fire hydrant at the back of the town's Public Works garage. An ever increasing pile of garbage/recycling on the edge of the marsh. That can't be good, right??? I wonder what happened to all the hose covers and hydrant top?? Maybe they'r brass and/or worth something.
