No snow
For once, Edinburgh is snow-free while further south is white over. This shot was a walk-and-shoot as I was late for work. One of the benefits of dark mornings is the winter sun still being low and coming so prettily though the trees on the Meadows even when the poor timekeepers, like me, are doing their morning commute.
Quite interesting meetings today. I got to meet some new immediate colleagues, who seems like they'll be great to work with, and managed to schedule another two meetings with equally pleasant people in coffee shops - never a bad thing when your office has no windows (although avoiding Forrest Road Starbucks at school-emptying time might be an idea for the future).
This weekend will be quiet socially, but with lots of bitty jobs to do. Before that, though, lie-in tomorrow morning! A few flakes of snow have been starting to settle this evening, so we'll see whether it holds.
