Bear dog

I was supposed to be going to Somerset for the weekend, but snow stopped play. Although at this end there hasn't been as much snow as predicted.

It was dull with a leaden sky all day. The dog and I didn't venture far from home, we had a good walk this morning and then a play in the garden this afternoon, where as you can see, she loves catching snowballs.

My cottage, on the edge of a field has no protection from the biting east wind, so we are hunkered down in front of the log fire now. The wood pile is depleting rapidly.
