Learning About Robert Burns

Dear Diary,

I started a new on-line course this week on the poetry of Robert Burns given by the University of Glasgow.  I so enjoyed their class last year on the history of the Highland clans.  "To a Mouse" is a favorite Burns poem of mine although I enjoy so many of them.  I'm learning to understand the Scots language a bit better too.  I am so hooked on these free on-line classes.  There is so much to learn and learning should be a life-long pursuit.  I think this quote is so true, "In the age of information technology, ignorance is a choice."
