Right way up
A visit to the boatbuilder today to deliver the timber for the inner gunwhales. On arrival he announced that the hull was ready to be turned right side up.
We now had the first view of the finished shape and very pleasing it is too. A pronounced shear, firm bilges and generous amounts of rocker. There is a lot of volume in the hull that bodes well for sailing when there’s a bit of chop.
Mr b/b is epoxy taping the inside of the hull and fitting the inwhales which he reckons is another 20 hours work so she should be coming home mid to late February.
