Another gloriously sunny day but really cold.
There was a beautiful pre dawn sky but I couldn't go anywhere to photograph it as I had to collect Monty and Dixie first thing ( making 5 dogs in the house again)
The temperatures dropped to -5 overnight and the frost on the fields looked pretty spectacular.
The lanes out of the village were once again like an ice rink so the morning dog walks were taken full of trepidation.
I managed to find a window of opportunity for a quick trip to Stover in the afternoon.
Despite the full sun, 50% of the lake was frozen.
Standing in a sunny spot I practised some flight shots. Many have been deleted but I feel Im getting a bit better.
I like the extra but am annoyed that I didn't get the whole of the incoming gull.
The main blip is a composite of the same gull coming into land on the ice
Day total 2 miles (at least) I keep forgetting to put my tracker on!
