Yesterday’s bride very kindly gave me some wedding flowers to bring home - they’re utterly stunning. Her new sister in law travelled all the way from Australia, traipsed round flower markets with jet lag and spent days prepping the most stunning bouquets and table decs. What a great sister in law! Made me feel slightly guilty about rocking up to next weekend’s wedding having done precisely nothing for our new sister in law! Sorry BG!

Gratefuls:

1. A really good service at church;
2. Antony making roast dinner for our friends whilst I mainly sat and chatted to them - I think he actually prefers me to keep out of the way, as long as I make the gravy (if I die prematurely, can someone teach Ant to make a good gravy?!);
3. A slow day after the wedding fun.
