wedded bliss

These two beautiful people were legally married 6 months ago in Australia but returned back to the bride’s family to exchange rings and make their vows in front of family and friends. It was such a special time. I loved that both of them had been joyfully single and had been initially slightly dubious about this falling in love business, recognising the potential inconvenience and complication it would bring. They’d both held out for the person they could fulfil their calling with and it was just so lovely to celebrate their union and their joy.

Gratefuls:

1. All the lessons this bride has taught me since I met her as a teenager (her, not me) 15 years ago;
2. Sunshine on a wintry wedding day;
3. Antony being kind enough to accommodate my last minute desire for a haircut and taking two trips to Buxton in one day.
