Brew Monday

Today is the tabloid newspapers so called Blue Monday. Christmas credit card bills have to be paid. New year resolutions hang by a thread and it is still very dark on the Monday morning commute. We had a large team of Samaritan volunteers at Waverley early today giving out tea bags and encouraging everyone to have a brew and a natter when they got to work! We handed out hundreds of bags and were very encouraged by the response. We’d like to think that we’d turned a potential blue Monday into a very positive Brew Monday!
