The Mountain
Blencathra doing its volcano impersonations.
Ran the van to Keswick and walked up onto Bleaberry Fell. A couple of days of heavy frosts have made it easier underfoot crossing the boggy bits. A bank of cloud came over at almost exactly the same time as yesterday and it got quite chilly as I headed onto the top. Afterwards i headed back to do a little bit more painting. When The Tuneless Whistler passed with his dog I looked out and saw the most amazing sunset... I wished I had stayed out a bit later and caught it over the fells; it was spectacular.
