Waiting

... at Penrith station for a VIP. The blip gods were kind and parted the rain clouds for a lovely afternoon spent with Grace catching up over some lunch at the community cafe in Threlkeld and then a drive through to Ullswater and a chilly wander out onto the boat landing at Aira, watching a helicopter rescue going on up on the high fells (extra). We finished off with a cuppa at home before heading back to the station just in time for the train back to Glasgow.
