...to hide the existence of this 1901 recipe Irn Bru from this boy for some weeks but the cat is out of the bag now!

He came in from school with the news “I’ve heard at school that Mr Shakoor’s has Irn Bru that is the original recipe!” “Oh really!”

Ten minutes later he had persuaded an older brother to go to Mr Shakoor’s and purchase said elixir!

Just look at the pure joy on his face!

Grateful for wee moments like this...maybe less grateful for the sugar filled eleven year old I’m about to have!
