The Ecoist's 18th Birthday party

The blip is from friday evening, as we celebrated old Ecoist team meeting.

Ekoisti (in englisch the Ecoist) was popular factual entertaining tv-series dealing with ecological and enviromental issues in friday night prime time. The name meant the opposite to egoist, a person who wants to be also ecologic in his/ her life - so in every part of the series we tried to tell viewers how to save the world just with their daily choices...
First episode of Ecoist was broadcasted at 1994 in TV2-channel - and there was of course several professionals preparing and making it during it's 12years in Finnish broadcasting company's history.

Somehow all of the journalists, editors, producers, production assistants, cameramen, directors etc just were quite devoted to the Ecoist - and we enjoyed each other's company. The meeting yesterday was so wonderful idea - thanks for Jyrki, Oili and Teija - the evening was full of joy and laughter, funny memories, good food and some drinking. One of us has moved overseas, so we called her too.

Now heading to family weekend.. There is only -12c degrees outdoors so maybe some skiing, ice fishing or skating today. Some good food and for sure going to sauna this evening...
