Alarming

Well, it would have been had I come over the crest of a hill and seen the area around my house lit up like this.

As it was the scene was taking place from where Luna and I had just come from on our evening walk. After seemingly weeks of clear skies, relatively warm temperatures and no rain, a bit of snow last night and a day with occasional sleet and hail showers.

While the forecast is for cold weather, it doesn't look like the proper winter we should be having. A dusting of snow tomorrow and that's it for January.
