Perfectly ordinary

I loved today. We got up early, drank tea, listened to music, read, played cards, ate, talked, hung out with the cats. Despite her lingering cold TSM was on form, particularly with her cooking and thrashing me at kalooki. We walked into town just for some fresh air and bought some wood stain for the new living room door but it was very cold out.

We watched Booksmart tonight which I really enjoyed after a lukewarm start. One of those films where you really found yourself warming to the characters and wanting them to come through by the end.

Had a lovely FaceTime with TGR. Her part of Canada is deep in snow and she has had to cope with temperatures as low as -37 this week. 

Been a good day.
