It was a pronto start to the day as we left home at 8.30am for Nelson airport as our daughter and grandchildren returned to their home in Wellington this morning.

Now our home is very quiet - other than the washing machine!

The main photo is Marcus and the extra photo is Sophia. 
Either could have featured as my main blip, but in the past Sophia has been happier posing and ‘made the cut’ more often. 
Somehow the photos were more general this holiday so it was a quick few minutes getting these before leaving for the trip to the airport.



Thank you for the comments and stars for yesterday’s two photos. The children were fascinated seeing the saltwater baths empty and clean - and then to return later in the day when they had refilled with the incoming tide so they could enjoy a final holiday swim.


Hopefully I have thanked everyone for the gift of hearts and now I will slowly catch up with your journals. Comments will still be limited, but I will sprinkle stars.
