Levenhall lagoons
A run before breakfast. Flat calm sea. A long walk in the best of the sunshine mid morning.
On a remote part of the coastal embankment east of Musselburgh we saw a curlew and squadrons of swans ‘whooping up’ The Esk. An elderly gentleman wearing only trainers and shorts gave us a very cold fright as he jogged by. I was hoping he was not about to become ‘The Naked Jogger’!
We returned via the pool and the racecourse where a sparsely attended racing afternoon was about to begin.
