Music While I Worked

A day of Spring cleaning the kitchen today. 

While I was doing that, one of our neighbours came round as Frank had offered to help him with some songs he wants to sing. Trevor has a good voice and often wants to sing at the Jam Session, but having no knowledge of music theory couldn't say what key he was in so the musicians struggled to accompany him. Today they sorted out a few songs and Frank helped him find the right key to complement his voice.
I was in the kitchen harmonising!

Later, I went in the garden and dug up the rest of the carrots from last year, chopped them up, blanched them and put them in the freezer.

A cosy night in for me on my own tonight as Frank is going to the Jam Session.
I would normally be going too with my ukulele but I'm not going with this big toothy gap!
