Sea Level Dropped
A fine day, less wind, a sunny morning, and then showers in the afternoon and evening.
Another day working on the museum desk, and another fairly quiet day. I have been working late too, as there was a talk on by Jim Wilson (Fair Isle), about Viking Genes in Shetlanders. Feet up by the fire now.
I met mam for lunch, and swung by the same burn as yesterday on my way to meet her. As you can see, the spring tides have dropped back again, and back to a more normal high tide mark. It was incredible to see the high levels yesterday, but glad it's not a thing, yet. Taken at the mouth of Laxdale Burn, Aithsvoe, Cunningsburgh.
