Payback time

I spent the day catching up on work stuff, only going out of the house as far as the corner shop. It was perishing cold outside (and none too warm indoors) but it was sunny most of the day. By mid-evening we finally have a couple of inches worth of this snow stuff that has been in the news.

There's always something particularly pleasing about receiving a cheque in the post from Mr Bowles; he takes quite enough of my earnings as it is (or to be precise, slightly too much - £67.99 too much last year, it seems!)
