High tide
A blowy day with strong gusts and a few sleety showers but it was also bright for a lot of the day.
We nipped down to Udale Bay just before Brownies. It was a VERY high tide and all the grassy banks were covered as were most of the fields at the side.
Brownies was fun and all the girls worked extremely well together. We did a couple of Skill Builders. In one they had to draw five animals that they would like to have in a zoo , although we changed it to a wildlife park instead of a Zoo.They then had to get into a pair and choose just five animals between them to go into the Park. They negotiated very well and ended up with a variety of animals. All the groups then got together to make just one wildlife park.Lions and monkeys had to be there along with Pandas, Polar bears, Koalas :)
We talked about what habitat they would need and what food they would need.
We then looked at our muscles and played a ball game where they had to use different muscles to get the ball from one end of the line to the other.Very funny and lots of laughter.
