Into the rainforest

We moved on to our second homestay in the rainforest. It is on a farm and the tour we were given involved seeing the cultivation of 40 or so different fruits and spices. The manure from the cows produces methane that provides the gas for the kitchens. We had a cooking demonstration from the chef who then presented us with his cookbook. Apparently he has appeared on national television. I had a swim in the river which was very pleasant.
