A good choice.

Younger son appeared again (for lunch), in his new car, (see yesterday). Good choice indeed. I remember the time in late 1980s-early 1990s when these badges were stolen and VWs ran around without front emblems on their grill. It was “fashionable” to prize them off cars; initially something to do with the Beastie Boys band lead singer wearing one around his neck .... but maybe that’s just an urban myth.

Went out walking late afternoon. And we got a bit wet.
