The guard of honour.

The guard of honour welcome the home team Stirling County RFC onto the pitch for their first home game of 2019, against Melrose RFC. The youngsters always give all players a nice welcome; its a real family club, it has been for years. It seems so long ago since our boys were setting foot on the “big pitch” in mini competitions etc.
I went to Bridgehaugh with my wife, older son and friend. Our younger son was playing rugby in Glasgow.
One of the Melrose players sustained a serious leg injury at 74 minutes. The players all went off for a while, it was cold.
We were narrowly beaten 19-22.

After an unhealthy dinner we watched the Edinburgh Rugby game from Toulon in France. Great Heineken Cup entertainment.
