Day 012/20. A bit of cheap old Chinese tat.....
At the aircraft museum where I volunteer they are 'test selling', small models of the F-35 Lighting II. They are only perhaps 10cm long.
These only retail at £2.99, so not exactly a high expectation on quality.
They are supposed to be snap together, but they weren't, they pushed together and then fell apart, I needed superglue and patience.
The colours of the model straight from the box are just wierd, the main parts are naturally bright blue, the missiles green and the undercarriage a dirty brown. What on earth were they thinking?
Anyway, I took it on myself to see what one looks like assembled correctly and painted correctly. Here is the result. Actually not too bad.
But the £2.99 snap together instant one, straight out the box, is, well, rubbish.
