Day 011/20. A Wet Walk on the Pier
A miserable day today, but we were determined to get out for a walk.
In the end we decided to drive to Hythe and a walk along the 1/2 mile long pier. In the rain. And the wind. We were the only 2 people daft enough to be out on the pier.
But we did it. Both ways. We avoided using the free electric pier train (see extra picture) and just got wet. The pub at the end was good though....
The Hythe Pier railway is the oldest continuously operating public pier train in the world, constructed in 1922.
