Afternoon out

Another 9am start.. I just don’t function well after 6 plus years of working evenings..

N and I headed out for a late lunch after and a short walk along the Corniche.. a bit breezy but many families were out enjoying themselves.. lovely to see her.. we’re missing J and still struggling to come to terms with the recent death of our colleague.

A surprise text message meant some clothes shopping for interview clothes, including a dash to Avenues Mall about 730pm.. lots of walking and I’ll need to go again.. got home late.. about 11.

Grateful for a comfy bed and my hot water bottle.. sore knee and a stiff back.. oh, and some chocolates in bed, a gift from a student..I’ll swim tomorrow..
