Flesh and Blood

Found ourselves downtown at the Seattle Art Museum just in time for a docent tour (added on I”m sure…it was very crowded!)….one of those things that works out.  This woman was great…full of great stories, knowledgeable, and humorous.      This is the bible story of Judith and Holofernes, one of many painted by  Artemisia Gentileschi (and others of course) …that I can’t look at without thinking of this.Judith and the Head of Holofernes, by Kehinde Wiley, particularly liked by Fiona.
