Essence Of Shape

Quite a few iterations went into making this image, trying to find just the right proportion of dark and light, together with the size of the main shape and its orientation.

A good shape, I was once told, is higher on one side than the other, has different dimensions vertically and horizontally and different opposing edges - active vs passive.

Another recommendation was to always have a guzinto (not sure of the spelling), which refers to letting one shape go into another, like a jigsaw puzzle.

For me, this image is a little gem and something I'm proud to have created.
