Clouds....

.....on fire during a warm nor'west sunset tonight, it was breathtaking!

I stood in awe as clouds were kissed by the setting sun sending hot fiery shades through the sky. Calm on ground, I could smell smoke from the Australian bush fires which had drifted across the Tasman Sea, over the Southern Alps and onto the Canterbury Plains before it headed out to the Pacific Ocean leaving these vibrant shades through the sky. I couldn't believe what I was witnessing.

Saturday.....a warm day especially round lunch when the sun was beating down upon us with no wind. Later in the day a nor'west wind was with us, warm and gusty. A little gardening was achieved today but really it was too hot or windy to be outside.
