Bassenthwaite Winds

Just before going to work I stopped off on the west side of Bassenthwaite, the wind was like nothing I've ever witnessed this time of year, so numbing to even be out in it for five minutes, it's that cold! Bass doesn't get the shelter of the mountains like so many of the other lakes.
