...for flower Friday. I noticed this new one this morning, a new “mail order” variety. I’m surprised it has survived in the hot dry conditions.

We decided to use all the water from our new rain water tank as it might rain again with a bit of luck and we were heading to Sydney and not able to water for a few days. It took from 8am to about 11.30 to empty, mostly by gravity (hose) and watering can to the front garden. It was a great feeling using our first rain water collected last week. After lunch we headed down to our son’s place at Mascot near the airport. I drove most of the way through new territory, very scary. We weren’t sure how to get here to be honest and although we followed the sat nav we ended up at the right place but couldn’t turn into the car park. It’s a lovely unit with views across to the city CBD. James cooked dinner with help from Xharmagne.
