Sea Pie

This, to me, is an Oystercatcher (even though it doesn't catch oysters).  I have found, however, that local people here refer to them as Sea Pies.  Either way, there were thousands of them in the Bay this morning.  

A brighter day today so I took the long lens and tripod out as far into the Bay as was safe in order to watch and listen from there.  Shelduck were flying, and feeding on the sandbanks and I could hear Curlews.
