A quick escape

A catch up with older friends this morning. Ageing can be unkind, and people don’t always receive the best advice from friends. Back home and a couple of jobs to do with my sister then off to the airport. I’ve booked a last minute trip to Melbourne to see two good friends, 24 hours only. I usually have longer in Melb but it’s a shorter holiday than normal and I didn’t book my Adel-Mel trip separately.. too much in my head.

So, life is about good friends and I’m looking forward to seeing them both tomorrow. And I’ve treated myself to a nice dinner tonight in a favourite place. I love duck and given about all I eat in Q8 is chicken, this was a very delicious change.
