The Christmas decorations supervisor

Today I finally managed to put away the decorations from the nature themed tree plus sundry other christmassy bits and pieces still around.  I was fortunate to have the assistance of a feline supervisor, essential for this sort of task I find.  

As you see I took a few shots of some of the animals that go on the tree:  the little wombat and kangaroo were bought on our very first visit to Sydney where we have family.  I cannot deny that my thoughts are turning very often to that country and the terrible bushfires sweeping parts of it.  The loss of homes and human lives is terrible and the thought of the loss of millions of animals and their pain,  and terror is appalling to contemplate.
