Antique Crate Pry Bar
I recently received a collection of trinkets from my parents. These included items I produced in grade 7 wood shop, antique napkin rings, and this "Box Terrier" Crate Pry Bar/Hammer. I believe it belonged to my Great Grandmother in Saskatchewan. I can only imagine how many fruit crates it opened in her time...
Trying to find an interesting angle led me to focus in on the non-prying business end. The other side of the hammer is smooth. This side, although likely worn down severely, reminds me of a meat tenderizer.
