Tiny Tuesday . . . Caterpillar

The butterfly raising season has started.  I was worried it wouldn't start at all because there were no monarchs flying through the garden.  Last week they started showing up daily and I have found some eggs to raise inside a mesh cage or caterpillar castle.  There are paper wasps that like to prey on butterflies.  I am doing my little bit to keep monarchs in our gardens. This wee one is now 1.5 cm or 1/2 an inch.  The extra is a butterfly seen this morning.  Thanks to Kanga Zu for hosting this month.
