They thought ...

I'd got bread for them, but all I'd got was a camera. 

This is the family of Swans on our local reservoir. I'd walked the dogs round there this morning and thought I'd get a quick picture in the bag. I don't know much about Swans, but I believe the parents chase their Signets off at a certain stage in their development, which I feel will be soon. It can be quite upsetting to watch as all of a sudden this close family group cease to exist. Maybe the reservoir can sustain more than just a few, I don't know.

Extra is the whole family. They really are a beautiful sight.
