and they're off..

not sure that Luke will like this photo..but I had to be quick and take it with my phone, as the bus appeared suddenly and then he and Issy were off..their next stop is Glasgow to stay with friends, before returning to Edinburgh for Luke to go back to work and Issy to return home to California. It was lovely to have them both here, and last night all 4 of us worked on that USA map jigsaw and got it finished! 

It's funny how Issy knew a lot about our family and home before even landing in Scotland, as Luke had told her about my blipfoto site..I love the way that blip is a window on the world, and as we have pledged not to fly this year, a way to travel to other countries without the nightmare of airport security!

Jess will definitely be missing our guests..I shall have to make up for their absence by taking her on lots of long walks :-)
